I took pictures of food for this photography assignment. i took mostly close up photos of colorful food in warm lighting. i tried to focus on the fruit table because the most color and detail was in these foods. 
 i used the rule of thirds and lighting to improve my photos. i used rule of thirds to make the food look more appealing. 
 i chose my subject matter based upon the most appealing food that had the most detail. this helped me view my world differently because i can now set up a good scene for food with lighting and detail. 
my strengths were detail, but i could have done a better job editing and making my photos more original.
